Chambolle-Musigny is a red wine often described as the most “feminine” of the Côte de Nuits. Intensity and finesse are expressed with elegant subtlety. A bright ruby with brilliant, luminous highlights. Violet and red berries (faraise, raspberry) make up its distinctive bouquet. This wine lines the palate with silk and lace.

Density: 10,000 plants / hectare

Soil: Shallow, well-drained, calcareous soil

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

Vinification: 100% de-stemming; pre-fermentation maceration (4 to 5 days); pumping over and punching down; vatting time 10 to 20 days; aged in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months with 20% to 30% new barrels.
